I've begun developing for another Jewelry store, located in Greenfield, PA... Called Greenfield Jewelers (go figure). The goal of this project is to add more to the web portfolio page.

• Stage 1 of the project: informational content and basic template design.
• Stage 2: may be cover "extra" info pages on services, and also potential eCommerce deployment. I may use one of two Drupal eCommerce modules (eCommerce or UberCart).
• Stage 3: rule the world!

Times are a little tough. After working as a consultant for AEO, my contract had ended, probably due to the condition of the current economy... so I have time!

Currently, I have been doing a little tweaking of the site to make it more appealing and usable.

*Updated the logo to be a little smoother.

Due to a funding snag, all of the good developers, coders and product managers had to be let go from TalkShoe.... that includes me.

So now I'm in the hunt for the perfect job. Although I'm unemployed, I'm using the time to learn xml/xslt. Just check out the cool gallery I tweaked and pulled together using a sweet template developed by my friend John Allen.

Now he's urging me to learn Ruby on Rails. I wonder if there is anything I can add to my site that could incorporate Ruby.

Time to update my resume again.

I am trying to promote some of the music projects I'm working on (including Umbrella3)... but also a new Christian music project.

So I will be posting new music recordings on this site as well.

I'm trying to rethink the uifusion website as more of a portal for projects I am currently working on...

So, I added a new podcasts page which lists out podcasts I am currently involved in or actually host. Two of which have no episodes yet... Coming soon!

Second, I added an Umbrella3 Band Primer page to describe how some of the music on the portfolio page came about.

The uifusion website is a work in progress, that will probably take years to complete. I will be adding more information about uifusion in the near future - Carl
