Umbrella3 Band Primer

Umbrella 3 Logo
"Music that makes you want to drop the gloves."

The music could be considered a little strange. It's a hybrid of rock, funk, blues, heavy metal, hip-hop, reggae, and a slice of jazz (that sounds so cheesy). You can listen to some of the takes below...

Band history
Umbrella3 is a band out of Pittsburgh comprised of 2 brothers and a close friend that really enjoy music from different genres, and try to make their own sound. Plus they love hockey. The common interest in hockey caused us to spend time jamming, followed by the viewing of hockey games made available through satellite TV. The rest was history. Check out the official Umbrella3 mySpace page, which basically has the same info.

Band bios
Jon Snow: Drums, Percussion, and Hockey package subscriber. Jon hails from all over... he's lived in Amherst MA (where he first started drumming), Texas, Baton Rouge, New Hampshire, and Pittsburgh... Did I forget any? He started drumming early on in life. Jon is also a studied Wushu performer, that has done well in National Wushu competitions. He currently works for a financial institution, coding green and red text on a black background. Jon is also a family man. Let's all give Jon a hand!

Dean Paradis: Screeching guitar, plays the point. Born in Hartford, Ct., Dean actually grew up in Saco, Maine, but still cried when the Whalers left town. He became well versed in the realm of heavy metal during the mullet-wearing-80's era for the spectacle known as "The Plague". He's a nurse of high ranking: almost Gaylord Focker calibre. Besides monitoring bedsores and playing with himself - on his axe, Dean is also a family man that has found a home in Pittsburgh.

Carl Paradis: HipHop/Funk/Bassist, fellow geek. Also born in Hartford. Also grew up in Saco, Maine. Also wept when the Whalers left. He graduated with a minor in music from Goddard College, in a class of 20 (not a typo) with a major in film/video/multimedia. After graduating, he went on to build an art studio in Maine with 3 of his highschool buddies. That went on for a couple of years, but Carl had an itch. It was decided for his health it would be best to move to sunny Pittsburgh. Since then he's discovered his hidden talents in the world of webalizing the dreams of others. He codes black text on a white background, which over time has accumulated into a multi-colored assortment of b2b, b2c, c2c, g2g (geek to geek) websites.
